Amber is an herbalist based in Vermont, and has a beautiful collection of handcrafted herbal concoctions under the line of Boheme Botanika. Currently, she takes all the photos for her online shop herself but knew that the quality of the images didn’t match the quality of her products. She contacted me to photograph her collection for her Valentine-themed shop launch. She asked for photos inspired by paintings from “the Dutch masters”, which inspired me to use sensual draped fabrics, saturated floral prints, and romantic styling.
